Diseño e implementación de un sistema de comunicaciones para la seguridad de una motocicleta, con algoritmo de predicción de rutas integrado con el MNVCC.

Abstract

Nowadays a large number of people have selected motorcycles as a means of transport for several reasons such as travel times, public transport costs, among others. This increase in the sale of motorbikes has also brought negative consequences for citizens such as thefts, kidnappings and cutting of the same, according to police report 33821 thefts were carried out in Colombia in 2018, being 2.45% of the total of 8,313,954 motorcycles registered in the Unified National Traffic Register RUNT (Government of Colombia Runt & Mintransporte, 2019), in an attempt to minimize the problem, a communication system was developed for the safety of a motorcycle that integrates the National Quadrant Surveillance Model MNVCC (National Police of Colombia, 2018) , which allows the interception of the offender within a radius of 1km, by means of an application for Android devices, which has the ability to establish, the nearest quadrant making use of the geometry of the taxi driver and sending the necessary information such as location, colour, model and plate that are indispensable for the uniformed to identify the motorcycle, by means of SMS. In addition, the application may establish the possible fate of the offender on the basis of information provided by the National Police on recoveries for the past 6 years.
