Resumen
The project includes a feasibility study of the implementation of a photovoltaic solar energy system in the Surtiplaza Checho supermarket located in the Municipality of La Plata in the Department of Huila. The load that will be fed is composed of 90 Led type luminaires, which have an individual power of 42 [W], additionally the possibility of being able to power 11 cash registers that are composed of computers and other electronic elements that individually add a average power of 200 [W]. According to the calculations, the designed system will meet approximately 30% of the total load demanded by the commercial establishment. The rest of the load belongs to the cold rooms, it is a critical load since it is there where the food is stored to maintain the cold chain for the conservation of the same, for this reason they require that they be in operation 24 hours a day which will be fed with the electrical system that is currently available through the regional network operator (ELECTRO HUILA). For this study, photovoltaic solar energy is considered as the main source of electricity generation from an energy, environmental and economic point of view since the region has high levels of solar radiation. The foregoing is done in order to reduce the energy consumption supplied by the network operator and thus reduce the costs of the electric energy bill. With the feasibility study the required equipment calculations will be determined; the implementation of the photovoltaic solar system; the time of recovery of the investment, the RETScreen Software will be used to generate a comparative model in order to demonstrate the technical-economic viability of the project that will be carried out.
Finally, an AUTOCAD® design of the photovoltaic solar energy system will be carried out in case the possibility of project execution in the commercial establishment is contemplated, determining the variation in the cost of energy for the user and the benefits that it brings to the commercial establishment for investing and implementing renewable energy.
