Resumen
This study intends to implement adequate instructional materials that could motivate the students and afterwards set up meaningful learning in the students’ mindsets; therefore, the question that raises is how to develop meaningful learning with the implementation of instructional materials?.This study focuses in a research carried out in a private school of Bogota D.C. Nuestra Señora de las Victorias during the year 2016 for bachelor students in sixth eighth and tenth grade, in which the intention is to use task based instruction method to device materials with topics of interest to increase the learner’s motivation.This qualitative study also explains the implementation of Stephen Krashen’s comprehensible input theory, in which stabilizing the two variables anxiety and motivation a learning process could become tranquiller, During the research and according to previous surveys and tests carried out for each group, the materials could reduce possible levels of anxiety according to the statistics retrieved.
