Abstract

Environmental management plan for the technological faculty of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, deals with the identification and characterization of environmental aspects and impacts that provide a possible locative detriment to the interior and around the headquarters. During the study, the different types of waste were identified and classified, according to current environmental legislation. Environmental management programs were also determined that seek to reduce and adequately eliminate waste, within the programs, goals, scope were postulated , responsible, indicators, general guidelines for management, use, final disposal, etc., which must be put in place to qualify, propose and reduce the waste generated by the headquarters. This management plan allowed us to determine that the headquarters requires expansion of areas and clear identification of collection points, execution of collection plans and preventive and corrective maintenance of common areas.
