Abstract

Manufacturing companies constantly face changes in the market that make them improve their processes and increase their products’ quality due to the significant competition and global competitiveness; according to the above, the company shall raise their affectivity rates and for these there are forecast models that have as reference the historical data analysis that enable them to project production to short, medium and long term as relevant for the company in study. In this project a proposal will be made for production planning, programming and control using forecast methods that will enable the company INDUSTRIAL DE ALGODON IDEAL LTDA. to have an appropriate production and thus, increase its productivity, product quality and reduce production costs.
