Resumen
Objective: To establish if there is an association between biomechanical risk factors and the presence of musculoskeletal pain in the workers of the company Troquelados Partes y Desarrollos S.A.S Methodology: It is a descriptive cross-sectional study in a company of auto parts of the city of Bogotá (Troquelados Partes y Desarrollos S.A.S.) between 2016-2017. The study population was 51 operative workers of different areas, the information was collected through the DME Tools web tool, the variables are studied through a univariate epidemiological analysis, bivariate and logistic regression. Results: Based on the findings obtained from the univariate analysis, the total population of the study 83% (n = 42) are male and 17% (n = 9) female with an average age of 35 years; 56.9% of the population have musculoskeletal pain. In the bivariate analysis, sex (p = 0.043), Labor years (p = 0.037) and maximum extensions (p = 0.044) have a statistically significant relationship and in the logistic regression analysis there are no associations of the variables observed due to the influence of the desmostration size. Conclusions: According to the results obtained in the study, it is evident that there is an association between musculoskeletal pain and sex, Labor years, maximum extensions with bivariate analysis. These results are confirmed with the literature given to the exposure of workers to the ergonomic risks present by the nature of the tasks to be performed, time of exposure, adoption of compensatory postures. It is important to mention the lack of studies related to the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms in workers specifically in the area of auto parts.
