Resumen
The current research project is the development of a process that is carried out in the Tocaimita neighborhood of the town of Usme, with Afro children of the community. The objective of the project is to create strategies from the dance for the recovery of the knowledge, traditions and customs and of the same to maintain the memories of the peoples and of the black communities; for it participated approximately between 8 to 9 children and who their ages ranged between 8 and 13 years old. The IAP (Participatory Action Research) is the modality by which the present investigation will be governed and through the field diaries, testimonies and graphic narratives, the collection of information is done to later carry out the pertinent analysis around the 3 main objectives of the investigation: identification of the context, knowledge, traditions and beliefs and the dance as a strategy for the recovery of memories. The objective is to present how dance, besides being a means of expression of emotions and thoughts, is also a mechanism to restore knowledge.
