Diseño y aplicación de una unidad didáctica en torno al desarrollo de la capacidad argumentativa con estudiantes de grado séptimo del colegio Aquileo Parra IED, a partir de un abordaje sociocientífico (CSC) sobre la multifactorialidad de la obesidad

Resumen
Objective: to strengthen the argumentative levels of the seventh grade students of the Colegio Aquileo Parra IED through the implementation of a Didactic Unit based on the multifactoriality of obesity as CSC. Methodology: this research makes use of the paradigm of symbolic interactionism within a qualitative approach. Results: the results show an improvement in the argumentative capacity of the seventh grade students, since initially 51 students (45%) of the population were located in the first level of argumentation; once the didactic unit was implemented, this level was reduced to 26% of the population (29 students). Regarding the understanding of the phenomenon, it was evidenced that initially the students presented an incomplete multifactorial view of the obesity; Once the didactic unit was applied, the students presented a unifactorial view of obesity, which in this case did not mean a deterioration in the argumentative capacity of the students because their answers show an evolution concept of the theme. Conclusions: it was possible to demonstrate that making use of the Socioscientific Questions, reflected through the multifactoriality of obesity, allowed the levels of argumentation of the seventh grade students to be developed representatively, since the majority went from level 1 to level 2. Likewise , the didactic unit allowed the students to improve the explanation of obesity.
