This internship report shows the work done in Fundalectura, based on the accord established in the Agreement of Wills between the Curricular Project of basic education with emphasis in Humanities and Spanish language and Fundalectura. The approach was focused on the support to the Documentation Center (CEDOC) focused on the Appreciation and Evaluation Committee, which is responsible for collect the books published in the highly recommended booklet of each year by Fundalectura. With the purpose to guide to teachers, parents, libraries and reading promoters for young children's. The document questions the existence of the committee and its foundations; if in truth it is elementary in the selection of highly recommended copies and mainly, the exercise of critical reading as a selection tool. The action plan in response to these questions, used ethnography as a methodology, which focuses as a mechanism of collection the participant observation in each evaluation and assessment dynamic. In this way it was possible to conclude the effectiveness of these spaces and the critical reading as a vital ingredient in the development of more than competent readers.
