Resumen
On a fine line between sustainable tourism and irreversible damage to Colombian ecosystems, the country is obliged to restructure the regulatory parameters of the areas established for ecotourism practices in the different regions of its territory; Since there are great irregularities around the control, monitoring and regulation of these areas; As is the case of the two ecoparks selected in this monographic work, (El Cocuy National Natural Park and Tayrona National Natural Park); Where it is known that many affectations have worsened over the years; In them it can be highlighted from the ambiguity of their environmental management plans, which shows us that the application, regulation and decision-making were not feasible and focusing on this need; And the serious impacts that are latent in its various ecosystems. For this reason, this monographic work will begin with a compilation of secondary information, to give way to an environmental feasibility study of an ecotourism project developed in each of these study ecoparks and in the same way the selection of two Latin American ecoparks that manage to solve the shortcomings that these study ecoparks present in the long, medium and short term, recognizing that if they do not take immediate action, these ecosystems may disappear and viable decisions must be made; Proceeding with the design of an environmental impact matrix that shows us the quantification of the impact present in each ecopark, in order to obtain the design of a solution comparison table, where each study ecopark was studied separately, a subdivision by impacts, and in the same way, the identification of possible solutions that the two supporting Latin American ecoparks can provide. It is highlighted that this decision making does not leave aside the economic contributions that are generated year after year for the country's GDP; Rather, it recognizes that there is evidence of a lack of ownership and awareness of the ecosystems that are open to the national and foreign public who love nature and all the wealth found there in its flora, fauna and ecosystem services; For this reason, if efficient measures are not taken, in some years the deterioration and even losses of ecosystems will be evident. For this reason, the results achieved with this monographic research work are highlighted, where, based on secondary information, it was not only possible to identify and analyze the conditions of the study ecoparks; But in this way it was also possible to quantify the levels of impact on each of the ecosystems present in the study ecoparks and provide, based on the experiences of foreign ecoparks recognized for their good environmental management, a table of solutions that could help the identification, prevention, mitigation and correction of these impacts; Seeking to avoid reaching a point where compensation is necessary.
