Diseño de sistema de riego localizado para un cultivo de tomate de árbol ubicado en Úmbita - Boyacá

Abstract

This document describes the design of a drip irrigation system for a tree tomato crop, located on the San Roberto farm in the municipality of Úmbita Boyacá. To carry it out, it was mainly required to obtain the characterizations of the land, crop and water sources, in addition to the requirements of the grower; relevant information for carrying out the layout of the irrigation system and its corresponding simulation in the Epanet software. The results of the program showed a favorable performance of the overall system, making it a viable and functional system, due largely to the high level of great value that the location of the container tank of water for irrigation. Additionally, a budget for the implementation of the system in its entirety was presented, thus providing complete information to the farmer for his decision-making regarding the implementation of this irrigation method.
