This monograph analyzes the experiences derived from the work carried out by the authors, as contractors in the service provision modality, in the cadastral updating process with a multipurpose approach in the departments of Cundinamarca and Boyacá, specifically in the municipalities of Fómeque. , Nemocón, Arbeláez, Tausa, Tenjo, Tasco, Socha and Socotá. For this purpose, experiences were collected through a survey aimed at professionals who have participated in cadastral processes in various regions of the country. These experiences have been used to prepare an academic document that reflects on situations with possible improvement in the implementation of cadastral processes. From our particular point of view and from the experience acquired in the cadastral updating processes. The text focuses on identifying the deficiencies and ambiguities present in the cadastral processes, such as the Update, the Cadastral Diffusion and the stage of splicing between the results of the cadastral updating and the cadastral conservation process, also known as the claims or containment phase. The main objective of this document is to establish academic reflections regarding professional training, the strengths and weaknesses of those who develop the cadastral processes and how they carry them out, achieving from the academic field to propose improvements in the methodologies and processes used in the capture of information. during the massive property recognition in the Cadastral Update, as well as in the management of information to address the community's concerns regarding the results of the cadastral update process with a multipurpose approach, especially in municipalities with a high degree of cadastral outdatedness. This is done in order to avoid reprocessing and guarantee the quality and interoperability of information between the relevant entities.
