Evaluación del estado de los microorganismos del cepario del laboratorio de microbiología de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas

Abstract

The formation of a stock nursery consists of a rigorous and constant work that keeps the registered microorganisms in good condition and without risk of contamination; the identification and registration of phenotypic characteristics of each microorganism allows to direct the search for applications that can be given to each of them, to generate a functional and efficient service according to the existing needs. In this work, seedings, stains and biochemical tests were carried out, taking into account the characteristics of each microorganism. The result was a database with up-to-date information on each of the microorganisms in the pure strain, and a link to possible uses in laboratory practices and other academic work. Contaminated crops were removed from the collection.
