Resumen
This research focuses on the technical and interpretative study of Claude Debussy's First Rhapsody for Clarinet and Piano, offering a practical and detailed guide for clarinetists. It stems from the need to find solid foundations that facilitate the approach to complex repertoires, especially those that present particular technical difficulties. Although there are numerous methods for the technical development of the clarinet, this work lacks specific studies that guide its interpretation, so the work proposes a selection of exercises applied directly to the difficult passages of the rhapsody, thus facilitating its study.
Through the analysis of recognized technical methods such as the studies of Rosé, Polatschek and Uhl, pertinent exercises are selected that help overcome the challenges of this work. This approach not only improves the understanding of the repertoire, but also serves as a useful tool for clarinetists in training, professionals and even pedagogues, by providing clear and applicable strategies for the study of demanding pieces. The research is presented as a valuable resource to enrich the technical and musical preparation of the clarinetist in the face of highly complex works.
