Currulao a través de tres rutas metodológicas. La búsqueda interpretativa de un cuerpo cultural ajeno

Abstract

This is the report of the thesis titled Currulao a Través de Tres Rutas Metodológicas. La Búsqueda Interpretativa de un Cuerpo Cultural Ajeno, under the modality of internship, done with children between 8 and 14 years of age, each of them with approximately 3 years of experience dancing in the children's group from the company: Fundación Artística y Cultural Acto Kapital, located in San Cristobal-Sur in Bogotá. This project was made in a total of 23 sessions which consisted of a creative laboratory implementing 3 methodologic paths: the first was an ethnografic track with elements from critical genealogy, recordings, photographic analysis, and "Corpografias". The second proposed learning dance through the understanding of basic steps, interpretation and feelings. Finally, the third track was the systematization of the experiences from the laboratory evaluating the knowledge generated during the process. Implementing these 3 methodologic paths facilitated the creation of a performance with a traditional nature about the dance "currulao". This product accounts for how the three methodologic paths contributed significantly to children's creative processes in traditional dance from the Colombian Pacific.
