Resumen
This monograph presents a valuable reflection on the importance of environmental education programs in the city of Bogotá, from the interdisciplinary contribution of Social Sciences, particularly Geography. In this sense, the project focuses on training in environmental education developed in the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden with high school students from public and private sector schools in the Environmental Social Service processes carried out by said population. For this reason, the investigative exercise recognizes the importance of the design, implementation and monitoring of environmental initiatives as part of the training exercises that are developed in school contexts. Likewise, the relationship of the above aspects with citizen training and its dialogue with geographic education is recognized.
