Diseño y construcción de un geovisor para la localización óptima de la industria en Colombia a partir de técnicas de análisis espacial

Abstract

In Colombia, an important sector which contribute to GDP is the industry: what transforms raw material into supplies or products. This sector plays a very important role because causes economy dynamism, creates employment and foster innovation. In this sense, this project deals with reality of positioning of industry in the country, to overcome obstacles and limitations which do not allow optimal productive process. For this reason, it was possible to obtain some results, first, municipalities where there are clusters of specialized industries, second, municipalities with proximity to roads, workforce (urban centres) and raw material. Finally it was obtained two group of layers, and insides these each industry was classified according to the type of material or good produced.
