Abstract

This work of poetic creation and reflection, entitled The Silver Well, is the result of an answer to the following question: how do we write poetry through imagined memories? This is why we endeavored to create poems that have as their poetry, or raw material, the imagined memories of man's original being and his childhood, as well as the memories of those who inhabit the world with him and the city that sustains them. In this way, we engage with images and concepts from different poets and other authors to develop an aesthetic reflection on what it means to write poetry that draws on the immemorial. The intention is to show how immemorial memories strengthen human beings, whether they be poets or readers, and thus have the strength to enter the world they inhabit through other worlds that poetry creates.
