Evaluación de la estrategia del control de la expansión urbana en el sur oriente de Bogotá: Estudio de caso Parque Ecológico Distrital entre Nubes

Abstract

The present work is an analysis of the strategies developed for the control of the urban expansion in the south east of Bogota, highlighting the citizen participation and the importance of assuming strategies that allow to mitigate and solve problems as significant as this phenomenon. For the above, we describe spatially and temporally the present urban growth in the south-east of Bogota, examining the functions and mechanisms of citizen participation that allow to establish the dynamics that contribute to the balance between human activities and the conservation of the environment, promoting sustainable development and ensuring recognition of the region. The need to analyze the presence of this park in the south east of Bogotá is to examine the scope of social, environmental and urban with this phenomenon, allowing in this way to achieve an adequate management of strategies for better use of the soil and the protection of strategic zones which are characterized by a high index of natural wealth for the city.
