Resumen
The present research proposes the promotion of political subjectivities from the School Religious Education both at a theoretical and practical level, starting from a double problem: the legal and contradictory ambiguity over the chair that favors the predominance of catholic and christian approaches in public schools and the scarce political formation. Subsequently, an object of study is constructed to address the religious component in the school that is conducive to political training, this being religion (religions and the religious) linked to politics and the political by analyzing the relations between religious institutions and politics and the incidence of religious beliefs on the political actions of the subjects. Object of study that is materialized from critical pedagogy in a pedagogical intervention oriented the fomentation of both knowledge and the political subject's own qualities such as self-reflection, participation, power relations, and autonomy, qualities that are, in turn, the categories on which the interventions are studied. From this, the chair of religion is considered to be dispensable, and in its place, the study of religion is proposed as essential for the formation of critical subjects.
