Resumen
Colombia currently has high expectations for the connection of 3,000 MW of wind generation, using doubly fed induction wind turbines (DFIG). In this context, the lack of normativity on regulatory aspects that make the participation of wind generation viable in the Colombian electricity market, because of its non-controllable variable character, makes it necessary to analyze the impact of the integration of this type of generation on the stability of the National Transmission System (STN), to participate in proposals for its development and possible solutions to be implemented before the National Operation Council (CNO) and the Transmission Planning Advisory Committee (CAPT). This document presents the analysis using the STN 2017 database in DIgSILENT, considering the entry of 1,432 MW of wind power with DFIG technology and proposing different demand scenarios with their respective generation dispatches.
