Resumen
A good business practice is linked to the environmental management that is carried out in the production processes, therefore it is necessary to establish an environmental management system that covers both the appropriate and optimal treatment for the vertimientos generated to the sewage system and the emission of offensive odors that deteriorate the air quality of the sector where the company is located. The waste generated by the transformation of fats are highly polluting, generating a very high environmental impact, so it is essential to find and implement the type of process or operation suitable to mitigate the risks. To eliminate polluting particles, biological processes are used, masking, good practices available that mitigate the generation of odors and vectors. The proposed odor reduction plan describes the best practices and / or best techniques to implement in the process operations to mitigate the impact produced by odors in the company Pracol SAS, are techniques focused on prevention, monitoring and control of the smell, from the evaluation and identification of the critical zones and impacts identified in the process. A compilation of information of the entire productive process and the administration of the company was carried out, in order to identify the offensive odors generated in each stage of the process and to determine the necessary activities to improve the environmental management in the company. A schedule of coordinated activities was designed and entrusted with implementing the necessary measures to comply with the mitigation of offensive odors and the correct environmental management that Pracol S.A.S should have. Finally, all the documentation of the implementation generated before management and the expected results was socialized.
