Abstract

This document is a brief introduction to some processes of the Colombian electricity market, where a brief literature review of diverse topics was carried out, such as the ideal energy's dispatch and the energy offer process, as well as some terms used in the market. and that it can help to understand the energy offer process of the generator agents, at the same time an analysis was made of the supply prices of five power stations of the most representative for the National Interconnected System (SIN) with the objective of observe the typical behaviors of the agents when offering the price of energy of their power stations to the National Dispatch Center (CND) and the impact these offers have on the energy spot price that generally affects the component G of the variable costs of the energy tariff charged to users, whether from the regulated market and not regulated.
