Procedimiento de gestión predial y administración técnica de la dirección de abastecimiento de la empresa de acueducto y alcantarillado de Bogotá, EAAB-ESP

Abstract

From the evident deterioration of Bogota`s ecosystems and the potential present in the ecosystems of the main ecological structure of the city, added to the efforts made by entities such as the Water and Sewer Bogota Company, EAAB - ESP in the protection and conservation of these strategic areas and ecosystems, in the Supply Water Systems, taking into account the existing deficiency in the documentation and organization of the information related to the activities developed by the technical support group of the Water Supply Department, was made a proposal of a procedure of property management and technical administration was made of the Water Supply Department of the Water and Sewer Bogota Company - ESP, which includes main activities such as maintenance of infrastructure, enclosures, natural and planted vegetation cover, access control, as well as surveillance activities, protection and beware. It is necessary not only to carry out institutional efforts but also to require the commitment of the citizens in a responsible attitude towards green spaces such as the Cerros Orientales, the Chingaza and Sumapaz moorland ecosystems, located on the Eastern Andes. It is recommended to focus the property management and technical administration towards the ecosystem services, green infrastructure, in the Supply Water Systems and the potential of new areas and destinations of the property owned by the EAAB, not only in the already established activities, but also in regarding payment for environmental services, the acquisition and maintenance of properties in strategic areas and ecosystems, since they are conserving areas from which their environmental potential is unlikely to be seen.
