Resumen
The main objective of this project is to determine how printing parameters such as infill density, wall thickness, layer height, face width, among others, affect the torsional resistance of the manufactured gears. To this end, mechanical resistance tests were carried out and the results obtained through the experimental design method were analyzed with the help of statistical software, allowing to establish the relationship between the manufacturing parameters in the printing process and the mechanical resistance of the gears, providing a basis to optimize the manufacture of critical components with additive manufacturing. Based on the results obtained from the proposed model, it was concluded that the most influential manufacturing variables in the mechanical resistance of the gears are the filling density and wall thickness.
