Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders in the different economic sectors are extensive, with the health and social services sector being one of the most affected. At a national level, few investigations have been carried out, which allow knowing the current situation in health and safety at work for physiotherapy professionals, who due to the variability and demand of their tasks are directly exposed to biomechanical risk factors, psychosocial and physical predisposing to specific clinical conditions. The purpose of the monograph was to inform the causality of musculoskeletal disorders in physiotherapists, through a bibliographic review from studies from 2010 onwards, in order to generate a methodological and investigative contribution for the development of future research, Controls and intervention protocols which mitigate the impact, favor the quality of life and work of workers in Colombia.
