Resumen
Throughout history, several pedagogical tools have been designed and implemented to try to link concepts with facts and realities that students live, this in order to facilitate the learning process, in the current context that crosses the entire world with respect to to the problems of climate change and human action, it is important to involve students from the classroom so that they are linked to the solution of the actions they perform in everyday life, that is why it is generally considered to recognize some ecosystems and biodiversity that each one possesses in order to know what problems both flora and fauna face and the consequences that can be generated in said ecosystem, using the application of the mind as a concept mobilizer. This work seeks to recognize the importance of the use of the mind in a group of 9th grade students of the Colsubsidio Chicalá school regarding the concept of biodiversity, to achieve this, the teaching unit '' Heritage at risk '' is implemented where the axis is the use of a mind to explain biological processes of species in extinction, for the collection of data the activities are implemented with the guides corresponding to each class, and the results obtained after the implementation of the didactic unit, the analysis of the data is qualitative based on the description and interpretation, with the implementation of the mindset it seeks to overcome obstacles between conventional theory so that a better understanding of endangered species and their associated biological relationships is achieved.
