Resumen
This research project is developed in the Laachon Mayapo Rural Ethnoeducational Institution and is based on the strengthening of the pedagogical practice of jayeechi (ancestral song) as part of the identity affirmation of the Wayuu people, where we involve the construction of methodologies and own pedagogical materials carried out with 6th grade students. This research is approached from the perspective of the Wayuu people, of how we teach and learn, of how we investigate, generate knowledge from song and all its manifestations of community life. For the theoretical-conceptual foundation and methodological reference to strengthen this cultural practice, we link the knowledge of the elderly and what indigenous and non-indigenous authors have written about this practice. This research work allowed us to generate pedagogical strategies that allowed the strengthening of the identity affirmation from the stories, in the form of jayeechi, transmitted by our grandparents. With the students we link and appropriate the multimedia language, with which we develop a radio program through podcast, where we interweave the contents of the jayeechi, their connection with the territory, from the spiritual and dreams. This multimedia material can be played on devices such as cell phones, tablets, and computers.
