Abstract

Basic sanitation includes the set of techniques or actions that seek to achieve the highest levels of healthiness, and also seeks to maintain a hygienic behavior that reduces health risks and prevents possible contamination of the environment; to comply with said purposes, the health authorities carry out an accompaniment through follow-ups, monitoring and surveillance to the public and private entities with the help of legal instruments to guarantee the adequate fulfillment of the Standards. To carry out the formulation of the programs of proper handling of solid waste and control of pests in the Esici a methodology was conducted by stages which describe the step by step of the processes that were carried out for the correct formulation of both programs .
