El Texto Escolar de Ciencias Sociales en el Contexto de la Educación Media: Análisis Discursivo e Interpretativo

Abstract

The present research aims to make a discursive analysis to approach the processes of interpretation of school textbooks of social sciences, In the context of secondary education in Colombia, with the purpose of identifying the discrepancies between the methodological and conceptual proposal of the creator of the text, And the interpretations that students can make of it. The social problem implied by interpretations of the text limits its use to an encyclopedic consultation and detracts from practical value when the skills and social skills that the student of the secondary education in Colombia is acquired are not acquired. In this search we have heard all the voices that are part of the process, from its planning and editorial design to the student as an end user, through teacher mediation. The results show that, in effect, this rupture exists and deviates the intention of the text as an adjunct in the process of social formation of the student.
