"Vestigios del olvido": una exploración narrativa entre la danza folclórica y la Masacre del Neme

Abstract

The traditional dance as a folkloric fact that reflects the expression of the people has been transformed over time due to the influence of Western knowledge in regard to technique and execution; At present, dance proposals are limited to the reproduction and repetition of figures and choreography for the show, causing a detriment in the narration of this event. For this reason "Vestigios del Olvido" is proposed, a book of direction and montage that takes as a basis a microhistory of the armed conflict in Colombia, the massacre of the village Neme -Tolima, to articulate itself to folkloric dance and dramaturgy, making visible and recognizing events that traditionally have not been taken by the folk dance of the Andean region as an object of investigation for the creation of choreography giving importance to emotion as a creative resource.
