La memoria emotiva como recurso interpretativo para la creación del personaje Amanda, en el montaje de grado "Por el ojo de la cerradura" 2020-1

Abstract

Emotional memory as an interpretative resource for the creation of the character Amanda is a report of degree made within the academic space Montage of degree 2020-1 offered by the District University Francisco José de Caldas, faculty of Arts ASAB, Art Danzario curricular project, from there a personal work is proposed developed from a knee injury (rupture of anterior cruciate ligament), and begins to articulate as the main argument of the work "Por el ojo de la cerradura" develops directed by Julián Garcés. Thanks to the creation of daily logs, it is possible to show a need to publicize the process of injury seen from the emotional and somatic, so that each exercise proposed within the grade assembly was performed from this posture, thus generating a methodology of a qualitative type, since the fundamental thing was the analysis of the description of each process. Therefore, it should be mentioned that this 2020-1 grade montage was framed within a heavy climax, uncomfortable and full of fear, because of the poem "jumps before looking" written by Auden W. H. and proposed by the teacher Julián Garcés, this triggered the creation of a character who had to contain these regrets, regrets related to the emotions experienced in the process of recovery from the right knee injury, so it started with an identification of emotions, and an investigative search that related emotion to the interpretation of a character, resulting in the proposal of the playwright Stanislavski to appropriate from memories an emotional memory that connected in the character at the time of performing a staging. From the above, it began to develop a continuous and deep work with the emotional memory to connect it with Amanda, a character full of fear, deep pain and ephemeral desires, a character that allowed me to observe a present past and recognize, embrace and above all release those repressed emotions.
