Abstract

This document addresses the characterization of historical private property titles in Boyacá as a key input for the implementation of the Agrarian Reform in Colombia, through paleographic interpretation, the analysis of historical references and the multitemporal cartographic review, delimit and georeferences areas of interest, optimizing processes for formalization of ownership, in turn including the integration of advanced technological tools, as geographic information systems (GIS) and artificial neural networks, to automate the identification of historical terms and their correlation with current locationsm this methodology not only strengthens legal certainty, but also facilitates spatial planning and promotes sustainable development in rural areas. In addition, the institutional benefits are highlighted, such as the consolidation of geographical databases and the creation of technical products, including maps and precise coordinates, which enrich the tools of the National Land Agency, Ultimately, the project contributes to national land redistribution targets and improves conditions in rural communities by resolving agrarian conflicts and ensuring proper development and implementation of comprehensive rural reform.
