Resumen
The research presented below works around the perceptions and conceptions that are evident in different population groups or urban communities (more specifically in some families of the UPZ Suba and El Rincón of the town of Suba) around the issue of war, peace and its impact in the context of the country after the peace agreements of 2016. The research aims to clarify the role played by both the structure of symbolic worlds and the concrete experiences of individuals and families from different socioeconomic social class in neighborhood networks characteristic of the city of Bogotá in the shaping of a series of social imaginaries that underlie the perceptions and conceptions about the armed conflict and peace in Colombia. It is a determining point to understand the way in which certain urban populations have assumed the discourse of war and peace in recent circumstances, based on some relevant aspects in the construction of their own symbolic worlds and their experiences. For that purpose, a relationship is established between some attributes of the theory of social imaginaries of Cornelius Castoriadis, the capital types of Pierre Bourdieu and the category of experience addressed by authors such as Wilhelm Dilthey, Georgina Paulini, Julio Horta, Gabriel Saide among others. This research also contributes to the use of methodological tools such as narration and photography in the investigation of social imaginaries.
