Resumen
This work takes up studies Ver Hoef, Peterson, & Theobald (2006), which were replicated in Colombia, by studying Valero (2008); in which the geostatistical interpolation quality index CCME-WQI water, the water network in Bogota was performed. This study developed routines based on MATLAB software programming, grounded in mathematical approaches to geostatistical interpolation method Kriging applied to drainage networks, by using the moving average. In this degree work routines developed by Valero (2008) were used to estimate flow values, along the drainage network of the Bogotá River basin; by three phases. a) the literature review of the mathematical foundation of geostatistics in drainage networks was performed. b) daily flow information 2014 of monitoring networks of the CAR and EAAB was collected. c) the model was fitted to estimate flows along the upper basin of the river Bogota. Obtaining as a result, the parameters θ0, θ1 and θ2 daily for 332 days of the year 2014, which allows independent predictions on each day of the year. Finally interpolation was performed 524 points (500 meters apart along the network) for December 18, in which the ability of the method is demonstrated for flow predictions in the studied network. The importance of this study is highlighted to detect outliers in the installed stations as well as to the location of new stations that contribute to the optimization and design of monitoring networks
