Conflictos urbanos en la ciudad de Bogotá. El caso de la acción colectiva en la búsqueda de salvar el Bosque Bavaria en la localidad de Kennedy

Abstract

The challenges presented in modernity have generated the need to carry out studies that encompass urban conflicts; that is why this article tries to answer, why inside the urban conflict between Kennedys' district in Bogotá city and the government accompanied with private agents rises the collective action to defend the territory of the “Bavaria factory”?, Because of the modification of the soil usage that's established on the "Urban Renovation Partial Plan". For this, there's a definition about the concepts that allow to theoretical interpret the urban conflict that involve legal documents and the historic, social and cultural characteristics of the agents and the community. It makes use of an ethnographic methodology of qualitative research, where data are obtained from interviews that extend the two visions that are in conflict for the interests involved.
