This research analyzes the physical-mechanical behavior of a hot-mix dense asphalt mixture (MDC-19), partially or totally replacing the mineral filler with street sweeping material. The objective is to propose a sustainable alternative in pavement construction, reducing the environmental impact of the use of mineral filler and taking advantage of street sweeping waste. The research seeks not only to evaluate the properties of this alternative material, but also to lay the foundations for future research on sustainable pavements. The document is structured in several chapters: Chapter 2 presents the research problem, Chapter 3 details the objectives, and Chapter 4 describes the methodology. Chapters 5 and 6 provide the theoretical framework and review previous research. Chapters 7, 8, and 9 focus on laboratory tests and the physical-mechanical results of the mixture. Finally, Chapter 10 presents the results, and Chapter 11 concludes with the relevance of the study and future lines of research.
