Usos y problemáticas ambientales producidas por el cultivo de hoja de coca a partir de la sistematización de experiencias de la Asociación Campesina AGROPATÍA municipio del Patía- Cauca

Abstract

Social problems understood as the lack of access to basic rights such as water, housing, food, health, education and decent work, leading to rural communities: peasant, afro, indigenous councils, settlers, etc. , look doomed to generating financial resources on their own. In this sense, the environment is conducive to generating economies of illegal type generated from the implementation of illicit crops such as coca plant in little social investment departments. For the case study here is to identify consigned uses and major environmental problems generated from the cultivation of coca in rural communities in the area of the Cordillera del Cauca Patia in order to further recognize the varieties which they are implemented within their worldview on crops. It is not only a social problem, also environmentally have seen the damage that the cultivation of this plant has had on the development of the field, being ecosystems most affected product land use for growing coca leaf, added to it aerial spraying of biochemical agents such as glyphosate to eradicate the crop is a key determinant of the environmental imbalance. In this study the experiences of people living in the territory in order to systematize, collect as much information about the life stories for the development of tools that facilitate access to these experiences as a learning method. In this sense, the work is divided into three chapters, where the first refers to the "cultivation of coca," which contains three subsections: 1. varieties of coca, 2. crop rotation and crop abandonment Traditional, 3. coca planting and "processing coca leaf." For the second, "coca crops on the environment", is spoken in two subchapters of the coca leaf, its social function and social problems, together with Fumigation-glyphosate. As for the third whole issue of the uses of coca leaf in the community, such as the Economic, medicinal, nutritional, Traditional-Spiritual addressed.
