Diseño de un sistema de ventilación y aire acondicionado para la ampliación de la Facultad Tecnológica en la Universidad Distrital

Abstract

Currently the “Universidad Distrital”, one of the most recognized public universities in the country, is in the process of expansion and construction of education buildings; as it is the extension destined to the “Facultad Tecnológica”located in the city of Ciudad Bolívar, where in a land site called the “Ensueño”. The expansion of the education center will have different spaces for the academic activities of the university community where laboratories, Audiovisual Rooms, Virtual Education Spaces, Cafeterias and a Library will be found; each with specific requirements of temperature, humidity and indoor air quality. In response to the above implement, a HVAC system (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) may be one of the best opportunities to guarantee optimal operating conditions within the project. Where, according to the above, an evaporative cooling system is proposed that will satisfy the required conditions; along with a thermal and energetic analysis that supports it.
