Resumen
The present article describes the development of a prototype three-axis flightrotation simulator in a commercial airplane (roll, pitch and yaw). The prototype simulator is based on a Stewart platform of six degrees of freedom, which is controlled by means of a joystick analogue lever type, in charge of performing the rotational movements in roll and pitch, and two pedals for rotation in yaw. For the prototype, a control algorithm was developed in MATLAB (Matriz Laboratory, Matrix Laboratory) software, which provides a user interface to visualize both simulation and rotation data in the axes, of the data obtained from the controls. Reverse kinematics analysis of the platform geometry to determine actuator positions, which are sent to the physical platform via Bluetooth communication. The kl25z microcontroller receives the data and generates the Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) signals from the servo motors to generate the interaction and movement of the prototype.
