Resumen
The company dedicated in Colombia to manufacturing and marketing weapons, ammunition, explosives, and blasting accessories by constitutional mandate, presents the need to establish a multi-objective model to maximize profits, minimize production costs, and optimize the production and storage capacity of initiation systems (electrical and electronic detonators), thus complying with the operational plan established by the presidency and the monthly production schedules, also to guarantee the supply of the country's infrastructure, quarries, roads, and mining exploitation clients. In this regard, a multi-objective model is proposed for production optimization, focused on planning, which includes the supply chain for the detonator-type products manufactured there, taking into account the criteria of production, storage, capacity, and delivery of products to customers, in order to facilitate senior management decision-making to meet the sector's product needs in the national market. The model will help control variables involved in the process, such as demand, logistics, security, costs, inventory, and quality, and will also help comply with regulations issued by the Colombian Department of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives Control (DCCA). This multi-objective model, applied to the production process of initiation systems (detonators), will be developed based on a mathematical model that will ensure resource optimization and cost minimization, creating value for customers.
