Resumen
This pedagogical intervention aims at revealing the behavioral patterns that inform Negotiation of Meaning among middle childhood students’ interaction in an EFL classroom, where project work tasks are used to enhance interaction strategies in an experiential learning atmosphere. The research considers group work as the environment where students are the protagonist in their own learning process and the teachers’ interaction is given in terms of guiding the process and observe how the students contribute in the negotiation of meaning to reach agreements and achieve goals. This study was carried out with fifth-grade students at a private school in the north-west of Bogotá, bearing in mind the institutional insights, philosophy, and mission which have been settled down in regards to the humanistic.
