Abstract

This document aims to present the development of a monitoring and control tool, used by an energy trader, to generate offers of technical services to large customers, of the electricity market in Colombia; initially, it describes how the electricity market in Colombia is composed, and also the importance, in a market with competitors, of the strategy of adding value to the commercial relationship with customers; Subsequently, the characterization of the actors involved and the activities that constitute the process of generation of technical service offers are carried out, in order to define states, with their respective maximum admissible times and responsible persons. Finally, the development of the construction of the tool is presented, and as a result, its functionality to analyze information, according to what is required, to calculate relevant information or create graphs that serve as management indicators.
