Resumen
The next monograph it consists, in a list commented, of the species of bats present in the Natural National park Cave of the Guácharos. In addition, to preliminarily estimate the composition, abundance and wealth. This research was conducted based on a theoretical review of: (Journals, databases and books) and an exploratory sampling of 24 nights in the caves complex to verify these species. With which, it was obtained, that 24 species have been registered, according to the literature, of these species, 8 and 1 possible new record (Myotis nigrcans) were identified in the sampling. In addition, the following theoretical information was provided: that all species are endemic; they are in conservation state: Minor Concern (LC), At Risk (NT) and Vulnerable (VU); they have several ecological functions such as: Carnivores, frugivores, hematophagous, insectivores and nectarivores and their ecology in general. It was obtained, a sampling effort of 72 h / network and an efficiency capture of 1 individual every 3 hours; during the whole sampling 9 species were accumulated, from day 1 to day 9. The diversity indexes gave the following results: The highest relative abundance% was for the species anoura caudifer with 56% and the rare species micronicteris megalotis and myotis oxyotus with 1% each. The wealth, calculated with the rarefaction index, gave a result of 8 species. This work, intends to understand the ecological importance of each species and from there is a need to protect and conserve each of the species bats present in the park.
