In this research exercise school environmental projects PRAE, as a framework for defining, are analyzed from the practical and from an archaeological analysis, implementation and actual conditions of incidence in both pedagogical tool that seeks to promote among students citizenship skills whose emphasis conservation and environmental sustainability. In the first instance the evolution and purpose of the various initiatives that promote in organizations caring for the environment as indicative of good business practices, which include companies or nonprofit organization as are the institutions analyzed educational. This study from a discursive analysis taking into account documents such as (United Nations Program for the Environment, 1975), Global Reporting Initiative (Global Reporting Initiative, 2013) and (Ox, 2004), global initiatives that serve and assessments to guide companies around the world. It was also considered what it is and how it has applied the concept of sustainability in educational institutions, putting some emphasis on how it has been understood the term and what it has involved the application of each of the projects as stated. Second, the legal bases which were considered as conservation and environmental care is an ethical and pedagogical imperative in the national education policy, materializing in the decrees 1743 and Law 115 of 1994 -normativas issued by the Ministry of education-Men and regional and local authorities in charge of the Ministries of education projects. On the other hand, they took into account the conditions under which the educational institution must include the PRAE in their Institutional Educational Project. Third, some interviews were conducted with teachers in charge of the Department of Natural Sciences and studies to institutional documents relating to the PRAE to define what constituted each of these. samples of 5 different schools located in various locations in the city of Bogota and analysis on the content and structure of the PRAE in order to determine ways of enunciation, appropriation and application of PRAE was performed were taken. Finally we proceeded to analyze each of the documents and project results and recommendations from the observed. Significantly, the findings of this research are aimed at an analysis of the discursive and effective practices regarding sustainability, seeks to raise new application methodologies, but to analyze from the actual sentence discursive movement that takes care of the environment in the educational institution.
