Resumen
his document contemplates the first phase of research to develop an asphalt concrete (MDC-19) modified with Calamine, with characteristics of environmental sustainability and with resistance under monotonic load equal to or greater than conventional MDC-19 asphaltic concrete, by means of the substitution of the mineral filler By this waste material, which is generated in the iron drawing process. Additionally it is contemplated to reduce the manufacturing and compaction temperatures in the laboratory by incorporating the HUSIL compound in the wet process, which varies the viscosity of the asphalt cement (C.A. 60/70 for this case) when foaming. The characteristics and properties of the Husil were provided by the research groups TOPOVIAL and Group of Studies in Materials, Pavements and Models.
