Resumen
SMEs represent a significant percentage of businesses in Colombia and contribute substantially to the national GDP. Consequently, they are a type of enterprise with great potential for society. A small group of SMEs focuses on the manufacturing of machinery and equipment. For these organizations, the predominant production scheme is based on make-to-order (or custom production). Generally, these types of organizations exhibit deficiencies in managing their manufacturing activities, which hinders the achievement of set objectives and the delivery of profitable final products for the manufacturing company. Based on these realities, this project aims to develop an integrative Project Management (PM) model that incorporates tools to establish a management and operational framework for the manufacturing processes of FADINMAQ SAS, a company within the aforementioned group, specifically oriented toward the production of hydraulic machinery and equipment on demand. With this work plan, a project management model will be formulated for this organization, and a pilot implementation of the model will be carried out. Following this work plan, it is expected that the organization will independently undertake the general implementation of the formulated model. This model is intended to serve as a tool to achieve better results in meeting the objectives of each manufacturing project and to generate benchmarks that can improve the profitability of projects and the company's competitiveness in the medium term.
