This work focuses on the design and simulation of a supervision and control system, of the equipment and instruments that make up the ventilation systems that operate in production plants in the pharmaceutical industry, in order to guarantee the environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, differential pressures, air flow and air renewal) required within the different areas during the production process. Through this design, beneficiaries are sought for the pharmaceutical sector by monitoring and manipulating the equipment remotely, allowing the recording of plant conditions in real time, enabling the detection and correction of unwanted situations in the shortest possible time. The system was designed through a methodology based on three stages: the first stage deals with the selection of the equipment and the variables to be controlled by the system, presenting a proposal with easily accessible instruments in the country's electronic commerce. The second stage consists of creating the interface and the supervision system, facilitating interaction with the elements of the ventilation system. During the third stage, the programming, control and communication of the interface signals with the PLC is carried out, achieving control of the equipment. Finally, the operation of the design developed for the control and supervision system is checked, performing parameter variation tests and displaying its response on the HMI. An alarm system was included that is activated from the detection of conditions outside the desired values and which was tested by varying the input and output signals of the control system.
