Diseño de los elementos para el programa de intervención del riesgo químico en la empresa Grupo Gemlsa S.A.S.

Abstract

The following project intends to design some elements of the chemical risk intervention program to which the operational staff of Grupo Gemlsa S.A.S. is exposed, for the period between 2018-2019, due to the fact that the company requires it for its System of Management of Safety and Health at Work. For the above, it is intended to develop as follows: Diagnose the organizational, work and health conditions related to chemical risk; identify the means of intervention through the evaluation of the level of risk; document the conditions regarding the handling, storage, transportation and disposal of chemical products; define risk monitoring strategies in terms of evaluation, monitoring and monitoring of chemical risk. All of the above, with the ultimate goal of generating and communicating a culture of risk prevention and promotion of good industrial practices, which may be a point of reference for the industrial sector, take such guidelines as basis and promulgate appropriate management of the risks and dangers to which workers are exposed, thus improving working conditions and the quality of life of their families. From the study it was possible to demonstrate a variety of chemical products in prioritized processes such as cleaning characterized by solvents, painting, welding and cutting by oxygen and plasma, combustion tests among other activities, of which management strategies were identified from the identification of hazards, organizational, work and health conditions, prevention and promotion, surveillance and others identified and developed in this document.
