Abstract

The objective of this report is to present the activities, analysis, and results in the internship "Support for the Environmental Management System of A&S Ambiente Y Soluciones S.A.S. in Bogotá, D.C." conducted by a student of the Technology in Environmental Management and Public Services program at the Francisco José de Caldas District University in the city of Bogotá. The issue addressed during the internship lies in the environmental management system at A&S, which is intended to fulfill its environmental tasks required by state regulatory entities. This is how the general objective of the internship is "To support the implementation of the environmental management system of A&S Ambiente Y Soluciones S.A.S. for compliance with its environmental tasks." The question is also asked: "What is the environmental management system like within a company that transports, manages, controls, and collects solid, liquid, and semi-solid waste?". The methodological framework was based on a qualitative, descriptive, and documentary research process, consisting of three phases: contextualization, document review, and environmental strategy design.
